FW Stuttgart: Dachgeschosswohnung in Flammen
Stuttgart (ots) – Offene Flammen aus dem Dach sichtbar – Eine Person kann sich selbst leichtverletzt aus der Brandwohnung retten
Am späten Sonntagabend riefen zahlreiche Personen in der Integrierten Leitstelle an und berichteten von Rauch und Flammen, die aus Fenstern und dem Dachstuhl eines Mehrfamilienhauses im Stuttgarter Osten drangen. Der Disponent alarmierte sofort 2 Löschzüge der Berufsfeuerwehr, Sonderfahrzeuge und die Abteilung Wangen der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Vor Ort stellte der Einsatzleiter fest, dass tatsächlich Flammen aus der Dachgeschosswohnung drangen, die drohten auf das Dach überzugreifen. Zu Beginn des Einsatzes war außerdem nicht gesichert klar, ob die Brandwohnung und alle anderen Wohnungen leer waren. Daher gingen umgehend mehrere Atemschutztrupps in das Haus und die Brandwohnung vor. Gleichzeitig wurde eine Drehleiter für den Außenangriff in Stellung gebracht. Die Löschmaßnahmen zeigten schnell Wirkung und durch die Befragung der Anwohner konnte geklärt werden, dass sich, mit einer Ausnahme, keine Personen mehr in den Wohnungen befanden. In der Wohnung unter der Brandwohnung war noch eine pflegebedürftige Person anwesend. Aus gegebenem Anlass entschied sich der Einsatzleiter die Person in ihrer sicheren Wohnung zu belassen. Dabei wurde sie ständig von der Feuerwehr bzw. von ihrem Sohn betreut. Der Bewohner der Brandwohnung konnte sich leicht verletzt vor Eintreffen der Feuerwehr selbst retten. Er wurde letztlich zur Kontrolle in ein naheliegendes Krankenhaus gebracht. Abschließend wurde das Dach von beiden Seiten mittels Wärmebildkameras und alle angrenzenden Wohnungen von der Feuerwehr auf Raucheintrag kontrolliert, ohne dabei erhöhte Messwerte festzustellen. In der Brandwohnung und der darunter befindlichen Wohnung entstand zusätzlich ein Wasserschaden. Nach Abschluss sämtlicher Maßnahmen konnten fast alle Bewohner wieder in ihre Wohnungen zurück.

Late Sunday evening, numerous people called the Integrated Control Center and reported smoke and flames coming from windows and the attic of an apartment building in the east of Stuttgart. The dispatcher immediately alerted 2 fire engines of the professional fire department, special vehicles and the Wangen department of the volunteer fire department. On site, the incident commander determined that flames were indeed coming out of the attic apartment, threatening to spread to the roof. At the beginning of the employment was in addition not secured clear whether the fire dwelling and all other dwellings were empty. Therefore, several respiratory protection teams immediately went into the house and the fire apartment. At the same time, a turntable ladder was brought into position for the external attack. The extinguishing measures quickly had an effect and by questioning the residents it could be clarified that, with one exception, no more people were in the apartments. In the apartment below the fire apartment was still a person in need of care present. In view of the situation, the incident commander decided to leave the person in her safe apartment. She was constantly cared for by the fire department or by her son. The occupant of the fire apartment, slightly injured, was able to save himself before the fire department arrived. He was ultimately taken to a nearby hospital for check-up. Finally, the roof was checked from both sides by means of thermal imaging cameras and all adjacent apartments were checked by the fire department for smoke ingress, without detecting any elevated readings. Additional water damage was caused in the fire apartment and the apartment below. After completion of all measures, almost all residents could return to their apartments.
