Am frühen Montagmorgen erreichte die Integrierte Leitstelle Stuttgart gegen 05:30 Uhr die Meldung über ein abgerissenes Flachdach in der Stuifenstraße in Stuttgart-Ost. Die ersten Einsatzkräfte fanden ein absturzgefährdetes Flachdach vor. Zudem befand sich ein Schornstein in gefährlicher Schieflage. Die Einsatzkräfte sperrten den Gefahrenbereich ab und forderten weitere Einsatzkräfte nach. Spezialisten der Höhenrettungsgruppe begaben sich auf das Dach. Über Seile gesichert bereiteten sie den Abtransport von Flachdach und Schornstein vor. Über einen Feuerwehrkran wurden das Flachdach und der Schornstein abgetragen und auf der Straße abgelegt. Nach weiteren Sicherungsmaßnahmen am Dach konnte der Einsatz beendet und die Absperrmaßnahmen aufgehoben werden.

Early on Monday morning, the integrated control center in Stuttgart received the report at around 5:30 a.m. that a flat roof had been ripped off on Stuifenstrasse in Stuttgart East. The first emergency services found a flat roof that was in danger of falling. In addition, a chimney was in a dangerously inclined position. The emergency services cordoned off the danger area and called for more emergency services. Specialists from the height rescue group went to the roof. Secured with ropes, they prepared to remove the flat roof and chimney. The flat roof and the chimney were removed using a fire brigade crane and placed on the street. After further security measures on the roof, the operation could be ended and the blocking measures lifted.
