POL-UL: (GP) Aichelberg – Haus in Flammen Am Dienstag brannte in Aichelberg ein Haus. Ulm (ots) Kurz nach Mitternacht entdeckten Zeugen ein Feuer in einem Zimmer des Hauses in der Hinterbergstraße. Löschversuche der Bewohner blieben ohne Erfolg. Die Feuerwehr rückte mit einem Großaufgebot an und bekämpfte das Feuer. Verletzt wurde niemand. Warum das Feuer ausbrach ist noch unklar. Die Polizei hat die Ermittlungen zur Brandursache aufgenommen. Der vorläufige Sachschaden wird auf etwa 500.000 Euro geschätzt.

A house burned down in Aichelberg on Tuesday. Ulm (ots) Shortly after midnight, witnesses discovered a fire in a room in the house on Hinterbergstrasse. Attempts by the residents to extinguish the fire were unsuccessful. The fire brigade moved in with a large contingent and fought the fire. Nobody got hurt. Why the fire broke out is still unclear. The police have opened an investigation into the cause of fire. The provisional property damage is estimated at around 500,000 euros.
