Tödliche Verletzungen erlitt ein Fahrzeuginsasse bei einem Unfall am Montag auf der A8.

Der Unfall ereignete sich kurz vor 1.45 Uhr. Ein 20-Jähriger fuhr mit seinem Skoda auf der A8 in Richtung Stuttgart. Aus bislang unbekannter Ursache kam er auf Höhe des Parkplatz Widderstall nach rechts von der Fahrbahn ab. An der Ausfahrt des Parkplatzes parkte zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein Sattelzug. Der Skoda prallte frontal in die linke hintere Ecke des Sattelaufliegers. Auf dem Beifahrersitz saß ein 19-Jähriger. Der erlitt durch den Aufprall tödliche Verletzungen und verstarb an der Unfallstelle. Der 20-jährige Unfallverursacher wurde leicht verletzt. Auf dem Rücksitz saß ein 32-Jähriger. Der erlitt schwere Verletzungen. Die Verletzten kamen in Krankenhäuser. Zur genauen Klärung der Unfallursache ordnete die Staatsanwaltschaft Ulm ein Gutachten an. Die unfallbeteiligten Fahrzeuge wurden sichergestellt und abgeschleppt. Während der Einsatzmaßnahmen war die Autobahn in Richtung Stuttgart bis etwa 5.45 Uhr voll gesperrt. Den Schaden schätzt die Polizei auf etwa 85.000 Euro.

The Ulm public prosecutor ordered an expert report to clarify the exact cause of the accident. The vehicles involved in the accident were seized and towed away. During the operational measures, the motorway in the direction of Stuttgart was completely closed until around 5:45 a.m. The police estimate the damage at around 85,000 euros.
