Neckartailfingen (ES): Brand einer Lagerhalle mit hohem Sachschaden
Bei einem Brand einer Lagerhalle Im Kalten Brunnen ist in der Nacht zum Donnerstag ein Sachschaden in Millionenhöhe entstanden. Gegen 01.20 Uhr meldeten mehrere Personen über Notruf die bereits in Vollbrand stehende Halle, in der sich unter anderem zwei Wohneinheiten befanden. Die Feuerwehr rückte mit insgesamt 110 Einsatzkräften und 22 Fahrzeugen aus. Auch der Rettungsdienst war mit drei Fahrzeugen und einem Notarzt im Einsatz. Drei zum Brandzeitpunkt in den Wohnungen befindliche Bewohner konnten sich selbständig und unverletzt aus dem Objekt begeben. Noch in der Nacht nahm die Kriminalpolizei die Ermittlungen zur bislang unbekannten Brandursache vor Ort auf. Nach ersten Schätzungen entstand ein Sachschaden von insgesamt circa acht Millionen Euro. Sowohl die Halle, als auch die Wohneinheiten sind bis auf Weiteres nicht mehr nutzbar. Zur Dokumentation des Brandverlaufs war zeitweise ein Polizeihubschrauber eingesetzt. Die Nachlöscharbeiten werden voraussichtlich noch den gesamten Morgen über andauern. Im Bereich der nahegelegenen Bundesstraße 297 kam es zu keinerlei Beeinträchtigungen.

A fire in a warehouse in Kalten Brunnen on Thursday night caused material damage amounting to millions. At around 1:20 a.m., several people called the emergency room to report that the hall, which contained, among other things, two residential units, was already fully on fire. The fire department responded with a total of 110 emergency services and 22 vehicles. The rescue service was also on duty with three vehicles and an emergency doctor. Three residents who were in the apartments at the time of the fire were able to get out of the property independently and uninjured. That night, the criminal police began investigating the previously unknown cause of the fire on site. According to initial estimates, property damage totaled around eight million euros. Both the hall and the residential units are no longer usable until further notice. A police helicopter was temporarily used to document the course of the fire. The follow-up work is expected to continue throughout the morning. There was no disruption in the area of the nearby federal highway 297.
