POL-LB: Bietigheim-Bissingen: Alkoholisierter 26-jähriger fährt in Tennishalle und verursacht 30.000 Euro Schaden

Am Montagabend gegen 22:35 Uhr befuhr der 26-jährige Lenker einer Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse die Straße Im Weilerlen. Vermutlich aufgrund nicht angepasster Geschwindigkeit verlor er die Kontrolle über sein Fahrzeug, kam von der Fahrbahn ab und fuhr frontal in die Halle des Tennisklub Bietigheim. Die C-Klasse stand mit der Fahrzeugfront etwa zwei Meter im Gebäude und musste von der Feuerwehr geborgen werden. Der Fahrer konnte das Fahrzeug selbstständig verlassen und wurde nicht verletzt. Im Rahmen der Unfallaufnahme konnte bei dem 26-jährigen Alkoholbeeinflussung festgestellt werden, weshalb er sich einer Blutentnahme unterziehen musste. Am Pkw entstand ein geschätzter Sachschaden von 20.000 Euro, am Gebäude beläuft sich der Schaden auf circa 10.000 Euro. Nach erster Einschätzung ist die Statik der Halle nicht beeinträchtigt. Der Pkw war nicht mehr fahrbereit und musste abgeschleppt werden. Neben der Feuerwehr Bietigheim und einem Rettungswagen, befand sich das Polizeirevier Bietigheim mit zwei Streifen an der Unfallstelle.

At around 10:35 p.m. on Monday evening, the 26-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz C-Class drove down Im Weilerlen. Presumably due to inappropriate speed, he lost control of his vehicle, left the road and drove head-on into the hall of the Bietigheim tennis club. The front of the C-Class was about two meters inside the building and had to be recovered by the fire brigade. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and was not injured. During the recording of the accident, it was found that the 26-year-old was under the influence of alcohol, which is why he had to undergo a blood test. Estimated material damage of 20,000 euros was caused to the car, and the damage to the building amounts to around 10,000 euros. According to an initial assessment, the statics of the hall are not affected. The car was no longer drivable and had to be towed. In addition to the Bietigheim fire brigade and an ambulance, the Bietigheim police station was located at the scene of the accident with two patrols.
