Kleinflugzeug nahe Flugplatz abgestürzt, Pilot schwerst verletzt.

Am Mittwoch gegen 19:15 Uhr ereignete sich in Heubach im Bereich des dortigen Flugplatzes ein Flugunfall mit einer einmotorigen Propellermaschine. Bei einem Landeanflug geriet der alleine im Flugzeug befindliche 54-jährige Pilot aus noch ungeklärter Ursache in Schwierigkeiten. In der Folge stürzte das Flugzeug aus geringer Höhe links neben die Landebahn. Das Flugzeug überschlug sich und kam auf dem Dach zum Liegen. Durch Ersthelfer konnte ein Brand noch in der Entstehung mittels Feuerlöscher gelöscht und der Luftfahrzeugführer aus dem Flugzeug gerettet werden. Er erlitt lebensgefährliche Verletzungen und wurde mit einem Rettungshubschrauber ins Krankenhaus gebracht. Die Ermittlungen zur Unfallursache wurden durch die Kriminalpolizei in Zusammenarbeit mit den Sachverständigen der Bundesstelle für Flugunfalluntersuchungen aufgenommen. Der Rettungsdienst war mit mehreren Fahrzeugen vor Ort. Die Feuerwehr Heubach war ebenfalls unterstützend an der Unfallstelle tätig. Es entstand Sachschaden in Höhe von ca. 200.000 EUR.

On Wednesday at around 19:15 hrs an aircraft accident involving a single-engine propeller aircraft occurred in Heubach in the area of the local airfield. During a landing approach, the 54-year-old pilot, who was alone in the plane, got into trouble for reasons that are still unclear. As a result, the plane crashed from a low altitude to the left of the runway. The plane overturned and landed on its roof. First responders were able to put out a fire using a fire extinguisher while it was still starting and the pilot was rescued from the aircraft. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The investigations into the cause of the accident were carried out by the criminal police in cooperation with the experts from the Federal Office for Aircraft Accident Investigations. The rescue service was on site with several vehicles. The Heubach fire brigade also provided support at the scene of the accident. Property damage of around EUR 200,000 was incurred.
