Ein Schwerverletzter und mehrere hunderttausend Euro Sachschaden sind die Folgen eines Brandes, der sich in der Nacht zum Samstag (04.03.2023) in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen ereignet hat. Gegen 03.30 Uhr meldete eine Passantin einen Dachstuhlbrand eines Wohngebäudes an der Güglinger Straße. Beim Eintreffen der Feuerwehr und der Polizei befand sich die Wohnung im zweiten Obergeschoss bereits in Vollbrand, aus einem Fenster ragten meterhohe Flammen. Durch die Feuerwehr konnte der 93 Jahre alte Bewohner mit Verletzungen aus der Brandwohnung geborgen werden. Drei weitere Hausbewohner konnten das Gebäude unverletzt verlassen. Gegen 05.15 Uhr konnte der Brand durch die Feuerwehr gelöscht werden. Der 93-Jährige wurde stationär in einem Stuttgarter Krankenhaus aufgenommen. Da die Wohneinheiten nicht mehr bewohnbar sind, wurden die drei unverletzten Bewohner in einem Hotel untergebracht. Durch herabfallenden Brandschutt wurden zusätzlich drei vor dem Haus geparkte Fahrzeuge beschädigt. Hier entstand ein Schaden in Höhe von etwa 5.000 Euro. Die Ermittlungen zur Brandursache dauern an.

One seriously injured person and several hundred thousand euros in property damage are the consequences of a fire that occurred on Saturday night (04.03.2023) in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. At around 03:30, a passerby reported a fire in the roof truss of a residential building on Güglinger Straße. With the arrival of the fire-brigade and the police the dwelling in the second upper floor was already in full fire, from a window towered meter-high flames. The fire department was able to rescue the 93-year-old resident from the apartment with injuries. Three other residents were able to leave the building unharmed. Around 05.15 o’clock the fire could be extinguished by the fire-brigade. The 93-year-old was admitted as an inpatient to a Stuttgart hospital. Since the residential units are no longer habitable, the three uninjured residents were accommodated in a hotel. Falling fire debris also damaged three vehicles parked in front of the house. This resulted in damage amounting to about 5,000 euros. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
