Vollbrand einer Scheune im Zentrum von Filderstadt-Bernhausen
Am Montag, den 15. Mai 2023, alarmierte die Integrierte Leitstelle Esslingen die Feuerwehr Filderstadt um 09:10 Uhr zu einem Scheunenbrand im Zentrum des Stadtteiles Bernhausen. Eine Scheune mit angrenzendem Wohnhaus stand im Vollbrand, Flammen schlugen aus dem Dach der Scheune und es breitete sich eine starke Rauchentwicklung aus. Kurz nach Eintreffen der Feuerwehr wurde sofort eine Alarmstufenerhöhung vorgenommen, um ausreichend Kräfte an der Einsatzstelle zu haben. Die Feuerwehr nahm sofort von allen Gebäudeseiten umfangreiche Riegelstellungen zu der Nachbarbebauung vor und konnten diese Gebäude erfolgreich vor einer Brandausbreitung schützen. Mit 2 Drehleitern sowie mehreren Löschrohren am Boden konnte das offene Feuer erfolgreich und effektiv bekämpft werden. Herausfordernd im aktuellen Einsatzverlauf ist die Statik des einsturzgefährdeten Gebäudes. Ein Fachberater Bau des THW begutachtet aktuell das Gebäude, ein Einsatz von Baggern zum teilweisen Abbruch ist eingeleitet. Der Großlüfter der Feuerwehr Filderstadt wird aktuell zur Brandbekämpfung des Heulagers eingesetzt. Der Einsatzleitwagen 2 sowie der Gerätewagen Atemschutz der Feuerwehr Esslingen unterstützen an der Einsatzstelle. Oberbürgermeister Christoph Traub, Baubürgermeister Erster Bürgermeister Falk-Udo Beck sowie der Leiter Ordnungsamt Jan-Stefan Blessing sind ebenfalls an der Einsatzstelle, um sich ein Bild der Lage zu verschaffen. Glücklicherweise sind keine Menschen oder Tiere verletzt worden. Die Abbruch- und Nachlöscharbeiten werden nach Einschätzung des Kreisbrandmeisters und Einsatzleiters Guido Kenner noch mehreren Stunden andauern. Aktuell befinden sich rund 130 Einsatzkräfte aller Hilfsorganisationen an der Einsatzstelle. Zur Brandursache und Schadenshöhe kann keine Auskunft erteilt werden, die Polizei befindet sich an der Einsatzstelle.
