Neuenstadt am Kocher/Kochertürn: Brand einer Scheue
Eine Vielzahl von Notrufern meldeten kurz vor Mitternacht, den Brand eines landwirtschaftlichen Anwesens in der Graf-von-Düren-Straße. Bemerkt wurde der Brand auch von den Eigentümern, die kurz zuvor zum Anwesen zurückkamen. Teilweise schlugen die Flammen 10 – 15 Meter in die Höhe. Aus der bereits brennenden Stallung konnten noch 4 Pferde gerettet werden. Für 7 Pferde kam die Hilfe zu spät, sie konnten nicht mehr aus den hinteren Stallungen in Sicherheit gebracht werden und sind verendet. Die Brandursache ist derzeit noch unklar, Zeugen wollen kurz vor dem Brandausbruch einen lauten Knall gehört haben. Der Brand konnte zwischenzeitlich gelöscht werden, die Feuerwehr ist jedoch noch immer mit einzelnen Glutnestern beschäftigt. Den Sachschaden schätzt die Polizei auf mindestens 100.000 Euro ein. Durch den Brand wurden 6 Personen leicht durch Rauchgase verletzt. Die Brandermittlungen werden am Sonntagmorgen bei Tageslicht beginnen. Zur Brandbekämpfung waren die Wehren aus Neckarsulm, Neuenstadt, Cleversulzbach und Stein mit 50 Helfern und 9 Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Der Rettungsdienst brachte zwei Rettungswagen, eine Notarztbesatzung und einen Krankentransportwagen in den Einsatz. Zeugen, die sachdienliche Angaben zu dem Brand machen können, werden gebeten sich unter der Telefonnummer 07132/93710 beim Polizeirevier Neckarsulm zu melden.

A large number of emergency callers reported shortly before midnight, the fire of an agricultural property in the Graf-von-Düren-Straße. The fire was also noticed by the owners, who returned to the property shortly before. Partly the flames were 10 – 15 meters high. From the already burning stable still 4 horses could be rescued. For 7 horses the help came too late, they could not be brought any more from the rear stables in security and died. The cause of the fire is currently still unclear, witnesses claim to have heard a loud bang shortly before the fire broke out. The fire could be extinguished in the meantime, but the fire department is still busy with individual embers. The police estimate the property damage at least 100,000 euros. As a result of the fire, 6 people were slightly injured by smoke fumes. The fire investigation will begin on Sunday morning in daylight. To fight the fire, the fire departments from Neckarsulm, Neuenstadt, Cleversulzbach and Stein were in action with 50 helpers and 9 vehicles. The rescue service brought two ambulances, an emergency doctor crew and a patient transport vehicle to the scene. Witnesses who can provide information about the fire are asked to call the Neckarsulm police station on 07132/93710.
