Vier Leichtverletzte und ein Sachschaden von mehreren Zehntausend Euro sind die Folgen eines Küchenbrandes am Montagabend (05.09.2022) in einem am Veielbrunnenweg gelegenen Wohnhaus. Anwohner bemerkten gegen 20.00 Uhr eine Rauchentwicklung im dritten Obergeschoß und verständigten die Feuerwehr. Nach derzeitigem Stand der Ermittlungen hat vermutlich ein unbeaufsichtigter Topf mit Öl auf einem Herd den Brand ausgelöst. Vier Bewohner im Alter von 19, 28, 46 und 50 Jahren wurden mit Verdacht auf Rauchgasintoxikation zur Beobachtung in Krankenhäuser verbracht. Weitere Ermittlungen zur Brandursache dauern an.

Four minor injuries and property damage of several tens of thousands of euros are the consequences of a kitchen fire on Monday evening (September 5th, 2022) in a residential building on Veielbrunnenweg. Around 8:00 p.m., residents noticed smoke developing on the third floor and called the fire brigade. According to the current status of the investigation, an unattended pot with oil on a stove probably caused the fire. Four residents aged 19, 28, 46 and 50 were taken to hospital for observation with suspected smoke inhalation. Further investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
