Ein 48 Jahre alter Renault-Fahrer bemerkte am Donnerstagnachmittag gegen 16:40 Uhr auf Höhe des Teilers B14/B29 in Fahrtrichtung Backnang, dass Rauch aus seiner Lüftungsanlage austrat. Da der Rauch immer stärker wurde, stellte er seinen Pkw kurz darauf am Parkplatz Korber Kopf ab. Kurz darauf begann es im Motorraum zu brennen. Als die Feuerwehr mit fünf Fahrzeugen und 15 Einsatzkräften vor Ort eintraf, befand sich das Auto bereits im Vollbrand. Der entstandene Sachschaden beläuft sich auf etwa 20.000 Euro, verletzt wurde glücklicherweise niemand.

A 48-year-old Renault driver noticed around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at the level of the B14/B29 divider in the direction of Backnang that smoke was coming out of his ventilation system. Since the smoke was getting thicker, he parked his car at the Korber Kopf car park shortly afterwards. Shortly thereafter, the engine compartment began to burn. When the fire brigade arrived on site with five vehicles and 15 emergency services, the car was already fully engulfed in flames. The resulting property damage amounts to around 20,000 euros, fortunately nobody was injured.
