Nach einem Amokalarm mit mehreren Verletzten an einem Gymnasium in Wuppertal-Elberfeld ist die Schule inzwischen geräumt worden. Alle Schüler werden entsprechend betreut.
Nach jetzigem Stand wurden mehrere Schüler mit einer Stichwaffe verletzt und befinden sich in ärztlicher Behandlung. Über den Gesundheitszustand liegen keine genauen Erkenntnisse vor. Der Angreifer selbst ist lebensgefährlich verletzt. Das Polizeipräsidium Düsseldorf hat die polizeiliche Einsatzleitung übernommen. Das strafrechtliche Ermittlungsverfahren wird durch die Staatsanwaltschaft Wuppertal geführt.
Die Staatsanwaltschaft Wuppertal wird am heutigen Tage (22.02.2024) um 16.00 Uhr im Dienstgebäude Hofaue 23, 42103 Wuppertal ein Statement zum aktuellen Stand der Ermittlungen abgeben. Interessierte Medienvertreter sind hierzu herzlich eingeladen.

After a shooting alarm with several people injured at a high school in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, the school has now been evacuated. All students receive appropriate care.
According to current information, several students were injured with a stabbing weapon and are receiving medical treatment. There is no precise information about the state of health. The attacker himself is critically injured. The Düsseldorf police headquarters has taken over police operations management. The criminal investigation is being conducted by the Wuppertal public prosecutor’s office.
The Wuppertal public prosecutor’s office will make a statement on the current status of the investigation today (February 22, 2024) at 4 p.m. in the office building Hofaue 23, 42103 Wuppertal. Interested media representatives are cordially invited to attend.
