Am Donnerstagmittag, gegen 15.30 Uhr, wurde von einem Passanten beobachtet, wie an einem Windrad ein Flügel abbrach und auf den Boden stürzte. Das fast 100 m hohe Windrad steht nun etwas flügellahm im Windpark Bermaringen-Temmenhausen und produziert keinen Strom mehr. Durch den Aufprall des ca. 15 to schweren und 40 m langen Teils auf dem Acker wurden größere Teile abgerissen. Aufgrund der starken Windböen zu dieser Zeit bestand die Gefahr, dass Teile auf die nur ca. 250 m entfernte Schnellbahnstrecke und die BAB8 dahinter geweht werden. Die Züge mussten deshalb vorübergehend auf Sicht fahren. Der Verkehr auf der Autobahn wurde durch Beschilderung auf 40 km/h reduziert. Auf Anforderung des Betreibers wurden die Einzelteile durch das THW beseitigt und die Gefahr dadurch gebannt. Die Verkehrsbeschränkungen wurden gegen 19.45 Uhr wieder aufgehoben. Eine Schadenshöhe kann noch nicht beziffert werden.

On Thursday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., a passer-by observed a blade on a wind turbine breaking off and falling to the ground. The almost 100 m high wind turbine is now somewhat lame in the Bermaringen-Temmenhausen wind farm and no longer produces electricity. Due to the impact of the approximately 15 ton and 40 m long part on the field, larger parts were torn off. Due to the strong gusts of wind at that time, there was a risk that parts would be blown onto the express railway line, which was only approx. 250 m away, and the BAB8 behind it. The trains therefore had to temporarily run on sight. Traffic on the highway has been reduced to 40 km/h through signage. At the operator’s request, the individual parts were removed by the THW and the danger was thereby averted. The traffic restrictions were lifted again around 7:45 p.m. The amount of damage cannot yet be quantified.
