Am Montagvormittag gegen 10:55 Uhr kam es im Kreuzäckerweg in Ebersberg zum Brand einer Scheune. Das Feuer griff auf einen angrenzenden Kuhstall über. Durch die Flammen verendeten mehrere Rinder. Die Feuerwehr war mit 100 Einsatzkräften und 25 Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Sie konnten den Brand löschen und ein Übergreifen auf ein dortiges Wohnhaus verhindern. Ein Feuerwehrmann erlitt während der Löschmaßnahmen leichte Verletzungen. Der entstandene Sachschaden beläuft sich nach einer ersten Schätzung auf etwa 500 000 Euro. Die polizeilichen Ermittlungen zur Brandursache dauern an, nach jetzigem Kenntnisstand gibt es keine Hinweise auf eine Fremdeinwirkung.

On Monday morning around 10:55 a.m. a barn caught fire in Kreuzäckerweg in Ebersberg. The fire spread to an adjacent cowshed. Several cattle died in the flames. The fire brigade was deployed with 100 emergency services and 25 vehicles. They were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to a residential building there. A firefighter suffered minor injuries while fighting the fire. According to an initial estimate, the property damage incurred amounts to around 500,000 euros. The police investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, according to the current state of knowledge there is no evidence of external influence.
