Gegen 1 Uhr meldeten mehrere Anrufer Flammen hinter einer Metalltüre im Keller eines dreistöckigen Mehrfamilienhauses. Da auch der Treppenraum verraucht sein sollte, wurden zwei Löschzüge der Berufsfeuerwehr und diverse Sonderfahrzeuge alarmiert. Die zuerst eingetroffenen Kräfte konnten den Brand in einem Müllraum im Erdgeschoss schnell lokalisieren und mit zwei Löschrohren bekämpfen. Die Maßnahmen zeigten rasch Wirkung und so konnte bereits nach rund 15 Minuten „Feuer aus“ gemeldet werden. Die Polizei hat die Ermittlungen zur Brandursache aufgenommen.

Around 1 a.m., several callers reported flames behind a metal door in the basement of a three-story apartment building. Since the stairwell was also supposed to be filled with smoke, two fire engines from the professional fire department and various special vehicles were alerted. The forces that arrived first were able to quickly locate the fire in a garbage room on the ground floor and fight it with two extinguishing pipes. The measures quickly had an effect and “fire out” was reported after just around 15 minutes. The police have opened an investigation into the cause of fire.
