Ankündigung der Pressestelle Stadt Stuttgart: Brandschutzversuch im Rosensteintunnel, in den vergangenen Wochen wurden im B10-Rosensteintunnel bereits zahlreiche Tests und Prüfungen der sicherheitstechnischen Ausstattung vorgenommen. Im Zuge dieser Tests werden in der kommenden Woche die sichere Funktion und Wirksamkeit der Branddetektion und Tunnellüftung mit Brandschutzversuchen geprüft. Es wird ein Brandschutzversuch mit einem mobilen PKW Brandsimulator zu sehen sein. Dabei wird mittels Gasflammen und Kaltrauch ein Fahrzeugbrand simuliert und die Rauchausbreitung und Absaugung durch die Tunnellüftung überprüft. Tunnelanlagen wie beispielsweise Straßen- oder Schienentunnel stellen für die Feuerwehren im Brandfall eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Um im Einsatzfall schnellstmöglich reagieren zu können, wurden eine Vielzahl an vorbeugenden Maßnahmen getroffen und spezielle Einsatzkonzepte entwickelt. Zahlreiche bauliche Maßnahmen, wie Ventilatoren zur Entrauchung, Löschwasserleitungen und Brandmelde- und Funkanlagen wurden im Rosensteintunnel verbaut, um die Brandbekämpfung und Personenrettung zu unterstützen. Die Branddirektion Stuttgart ist im Arbeitskreis „Tunnelsicherheit“ vertreten und befindet sich in enger Abstimmung mit dem Tiefbauamt. Für die Tunnel in Stuttgart wurden gemeinsame Einsatzpläne zur konkreten Vorgehensweise erstellt. Diese Planungen werden regelmäßig überprüft und durch die Einsatzkräfte geübt.
