[ Berglen: Brand auf einer Deponie
Auf einer Deponie in Ortsteil Kottweil brannte in der Nacht zum Freitag eine Lagerhalle, in der Recyclingabfälle gelagert waren. Das Feuer wurde gegen 00.45 Uhr im Nachbarort wahrgenommen, woraufhin die Rettungsdienste verständigt wurden. Die örtliche Feuerwehr war mit Unterstützung der Wehren aus Winnenden, Schorndorf und Fellbach mit 12 Fahrzeugen und insgesamt 85 Einsatzkräften im Einsatz. Der Brand, der vermutlich im Bereich von gelagertem Recyclingmaterial seinen Ursprung nahm, konnte letztlich gelöscht werden. Nach ersten Schätzungen entstand an der Lagerhalle und am Recyclingmaterial ein Gesamtschaden in Höhe von ca. 500.000 Euro. Verletzt wurde bei dem Brandgeschehen niemand. Der Rettungsdienst war vorsorglich mit 8 Rettungswagen und 23 Einsatzkräften vor Ort. Die Ermittlungen zur unbekannten Brandursache dauern an.

Berglen: Fire at a landfill
On Friday night, a warehouse in which recycling waste was stored burned at a landfill site in the Kottweil district. The fire was noticed around 12:45 a.m. in the neighboring town, whereupon the emergency services were notified. The local fire brigade was deployed with the support of the fire departments from Winnenden, Schorndorf and Fellbach with 12 vehicles and a total of 85 emergency services. The fire, which probably originated in the area of stored recycling material, was finally extinguished. According to initial estimates, the warehouse and the recycling material suffered total damage of around 500,000 euros. Nobody was injured in the fire. The rescue service was on site as a precaution with 8 ambulances and 23 emergency services. The investigation into the unknown cause of the fire is ongoing.
