POL-S: 14-Jähriger kollidiert mit Rettungswagen – Zeugen gesucht

Ein Leichtverletzter und mehrere Tausend Euro Schaden sind die Bilanz eines Verkehrsunfalls am Dienstagabend (20.09.2023) am Arnulf-Klett-Platz bei dem ein 14-Jähriger auf einem Kleinkraftrad und ein Rettungswagen, der sich im Einsatz befand, zusammengestoßen sind. Der 14-Jährige war gegen 19.40 Uhr mit einem nicht zugelassenen Kleinkraftrad von der Königstraße in Richtung Hauptbahnhof unterwegs. Hierbei überquerte er den Arnulf-Klett-Platz, vermutlich mit überhöhter Geschwindigkeit, an der dortigen Fußgängerfurt bei Grünlicht. Ein Rettungswagen überquerte die Furt bei Rotlicht unter der Verwendung von Blaulicht und Martinshorn in Fahrtrichtung Gebhard-Müller-Platz. Beim Zusammenstoß stürzte der Junge und verletzte sich leicht. Ein Rettungswagen brachte ihn in ein Krankenhaus. Da der 14-Jährige keine Fahrerlaubnis für das Kleinkraftrad besitzt, muss er mit einer entsprechenden Anzeige rechnen. Es entstand ein Sachschaden von zirka 15000 Euro. Zeugen werden gebeten, sich unter Rufnummer +4971189904100 bei der Verkehrspolizeiinspektion zu melden.

A slightly injured person and several thousand euros in damage are the balance sheet of a traffic accident on Tuesday evening (September 20th, 2023) at Arnulf-Klett-Platz in which a 14-year-old on a moped and an ambulance that was on duty collided. At around 7:40 p.m., the 14-year-old was driving an unregistered moped from Königstrasse in the direction of the main station. He crossed Arnulf-Klett-Platz, presumably at excessive speed, at the pedestrian ford there when the green light was on. An ambulance crossed the ford at red light using blue lights and a siren in the direction of Gebhard-Müller-Platz. In the collision, the boy fell and was slightly injured. An ambulance took him to a hospital. Since the 14-year-old does not have a driver’s license for the moped, he must expect a corresponding report. There was property damage of around 15,000 euros.
