Fellbach: Öl auf Herd vergessen – Küche abgebrannt
Zu einem Küchenbrand kam es am Montagabend, gegen 17:40 Uhr, im 3. Obergeschoss eines 6 Parteienhaus im Ulmenweg in Fellbach. Eine 64-jährige Frau hatte in ihrer Küche Öl in einer Pfanne erhitzt, als plötzlich das Telefon klingelte. Während des Gespräches mit ihrer Bekannten, bemerkte die Frau irgendwann, dass der Herd, sowie alle Gegenstände im näheren Umfeld in Brand geraten waren. Eigene Löschversuche der Frau scheiterten und entfachten das Feuer noch stärker. Glücklicherweise koonnten sich alle Bewohner des Hauses unverletzt ins Freie retten. Die herbeigerufene freiwillig Feuerwehr aus Fellbach konnte den Brand löschen. Sie war mit 20 Einsatzkräften und 4 Fahrzeugen vor Ort. Der Sachschaden in der Küche beläuft sich auf etwa 5000 Euro.

Fellbach: Forgot oil on stove – kitchen burned down
A kitchen fire broke out on Monday evening, around 5:40 p.m., on the 3rd floor of a 6-party house on Ulmenweg in Fellbach. A 64-year-old woman was heating oil in a pan in her kitchen when the phone rang. During the conversation with her acquaintance, the woman noticed at some point that the stove and all objects in the immediate vicinity had caught fire. The woman’s own attempts to extinguish the fire failed and ignited the fire even more. Fortunately, all residents of the house were able to escape unharmed. The summoned volunteer fire brigade from Fellbach was able to extinguish the fire. She was on site with 20 emergency services and 4 vehicles. The property damage in the kitchen amounts to around 5000 euros.
