Mehrere Anrufer meldeten am Mittwochabend gegen 17:45 Uhr einen Dachstuhlbrand in einem Einfamilienhaus in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. Der Bewohner konnte das Gebäude bereits vor dem Eintreffen der Feuerwehr selbstständig verlassen. Die ersteintreffenden Einsatzkräfte konnten das Lagebild bestätigen. Der Dachstuhl des betroffenen Gebäudes stand auf ganzer Länge im Vollbrand. Die eigenleitete Brandbekämpfung wurde durch die exponierte Lage der Einsatzstelle erschwert. Eine Zufahrt zum Gebäude existierte nicht. Es ist lediglich ein schmaler Fußweg vorhanden. Die Löschmaßnahmen erfolgten unter Verwendung von drei Löschrohren im Außen- und Innenangriff. Aufgrund der Bauweise des Gebäudes erfolgten im weiteren Einsatzverlauf statische Sicherungsarbeiten durch ein Rüstfahrzeug. An der Einsatzstelle konnte keine Drehleiter in Stellung gebracht werden. Die Nachlöscharbeiten gestalteten sich daher sehr zweitaufwendig und erforderten einen hohen Personaleinsatz. Die Arbeiten wurden aus der Luft durch eine Drohne mit Wärmebildkamera koordiniert. Das betroffene Gebäude ist gegenwärtig nicht bewohnbar. Der Bewohner konnte jedoch bei den hilfsbereiten Nachbarn untergebracht werden.

Several callers reported a roof truss fire in a single-family house in Stuttgart-Feuerbach at around 17:45 on Wednesday evening. The resident was able to leave the building on his own before the fire department arrived. The first arriving task forces could confirm the situation picture. The roof truss of the building concerned stood on whole length in the full fire. The exposed location of the scene made self-directed firefighting difficult. There was no access to the building. Only a narrow footpath was available. The extinguishing measures were carried out using three extinguishing pipes in the external and internal attack. Due to the construction of the building, static securing work was carried out by a rescue vehicle during the course of the operation. No turntable ladder could be brought into position at the scene of the fire. The post-extinguishing work was therefore very time-consuming and required a large number of personnel. The work was coordinated from the air by a drone with thermal imaging camera. The affected building is currently not habitable. However, the occupant could be accommodated with helpful neighbors.
